Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi rendahnya keterlibatan pemuda dalam ibadah di Gereja Bethel Tabernakel Jemaat Ma'tang, di mana dari 54 pemuda yang terdaftar hanya 10 orang yang aktif mengikuti ibadah. Faktor penyebabnya meliputi kurangnya pembinaan rohani yang sistematis, persepsi bahwa ibadah kurang relevan, serta pengaruh gadget yang dominan. Tujuan penelitian adalah menganalisis hubungan pembinaan rohani terhadap keterlibatan pemuda dalam ibadah. Landasan teori mengacu pada konsep pembinaan rohani menurut Yakob Tomatala sebagai proses pendidikan iman yang terencana untuk mendorong pertumbuhan rohani dan keterlibatan aktif dalam pelayanan. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif korelasional dengan teknik purposive sampling, melibatkan 20 responden pemuda kurang aktif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket berskala Likert. Hasil uji korelasi Pearson Product Moment menunjukkan nilai r = 0,408 dengan signifikansi 0,074, menggambarkan hubungan positif berkategori sedang meskipun belum signifikan secara statistik, dengan ketidaksignifikanan tersebut dipengaruhi keterbatasan jumlah sampel dan intensitas pembinaan yang belum berjalan secara rutin. Kata Kunci: Pembinaan Rohani, Keterlibatan Pemuda, Ibadah, Perkunjungan ABSTRACT This study was motivated by the low involvement of youth in worship at Gereja Bethel Tabernakel Jemaat Ma'tang, where only 10 out of 54 registered youth were actively participating. Contributing factors included the lack of systematic spiritual guidance, the perception that worship was less relevant to daily life, and dominant gadget use. The study aimed to analyze the relationship between spiritual guidance and youth involvement in worship. The theoretical foundation refers to Yakob Tomatala's concept of spiritual guidance as a planned faith education process designed to encourage spiritual growth and active involvement in ministry. A correlational quantitative approach was applied using purposive sampling, involving 20 inactive youth as respondents. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire. The Pearson Product Moment correlation test yielded r = 0.408 with a significance value of 0.074, indicating a moderate positive relationship, though not statistically significant, with the insignificance attributed to the limited sample size and the inconsistent implementation of spiritual guidance activities.
