Abstract
Dalam konsep The Disable God, Nancy L . Kata Kunci : Disabilitas, Maranatha Huko-Huko, Nancy L. Eisland, The Disable God ABSTRACT The understanding of disability is still often associated with sin, curses, or human error, thus giving rise to stigma against people with disabilities in church life. This issue is also found in the Maranatha Huko-Huko Congregation, therefore this study seeks to examine the perspective of Nancy L. Eisland's The Disable God and how this thinking can have implications for the ethical understanding of Christianity towards people with disabilities. This study uses a qualitative research method with a phenomenological approach and literature study. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews, and documentaries. In the concept of The Disable God, Nancy L. Eisland provides an understanding that God is present and in solidarity with people with disabilities through the risen Christ who bore wounds on His body. This thought emphasizes that people with disabilities have the same value and dignity before God. Thus, the church must respond to this situation by developing an inclusive attitude towards people with disabilities. Keywords: Disability, Maranatha Huko-Huko, Nancy L. Eisland, The Disable God.
