Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali nilai-nilai religiusitas yang terkandung dalam tradisi Ma'nene' dan relevansinya bagi kehidupan Gereja Toraja Jemaat Roroan Klasis Parandangan. Permasalahan penelitian ini adalah bagaimana nilai-nilai religiusitas yang terdapat dalam tradisi ma'nene' serta relevansinya bagi kehidupan bergereja. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan berdasarkan teori religiusitas Rodney Stark dan Charles Y. Glock yang meliputi dimensi keyakinan, praktik keagamaan, pengalaman keagamaan, pengetahuan keagamaan, dan konsekuensi keagamaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tradisi ma'nene' mengandung nilai-nilai religiusitas berupa penghormatan kepada orang tua dan leluhur, rasa syukur kepada Tuhan, kasih dan persaudaraan, kebersamaan, serta solidaritas sosial. Nilai-nilai tersebut relevan bagi kehidupan Gereja Toraja Jemaat Roroan Klasis Parandangan karena dapat memperkuat persekutuan, menumbuhkan kasih, mempererat hubungan kekeluargaan, dan mendukung pertumbuhan iman jemaat. ABSTRACT This study aims to explore the religiosity values contained in the ma'nene' tradition and their relevance to the life of the Toraja Church, Roroan Congregation, Parandangan Classis. The research problem focuses on identifying the religiosity values within the ma'nene' tradition and their relevance to church life. This study employed a qualitative method with a descriptive approach through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed using the religiosity theory of Rodney Stark and Charles Y. Glock, which includes the dimensions of belief, religious practice, religious feeling, religious knowledge, and religious effect. The findings reveal that the ma'nene' tradition contains religiosity values such as respect for parents and ancestors, gratitude to God, love and brotherhood, togetherness, and social solidarity. These values are relevant to the life of the Toraja Church, Roroan Congregation, Parandangan Classis, as they strengthen fellowship, foster love, enhance family relationships, and support the spiritual growth of church members.
