Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi krisis spiritualitas remaja di Jemaat Rantepasilo yang ditandai dengan menurunnya kehadiran ibadah serta perilaku menyimpang seperti merokok, meminum alkohol, dan terlibat dalam judi. Tujuan penelitian adalah menganalisis peran pendidik Kristen dalam mengantisipasi krisis tersebut. Secara teoritis, penelitian ini berlandaskan konsep spiritualitas dan Pendidikan Kristen yang menekankan keseimbangan hubungan dengan Tuhan, sesame, dan diri sendiri. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidik Kristen telah mejalankan pran pengajaran dan pembinaan, namun belum maksimal karena metode yang kurang relevan dan sinergi yang lemah antara gereja dan keluraga. Peran paling efektif terlihat ketika berposisi sebagai pendamping, teladan, dan sahabat yang membangun dasar iman yang kuat serta Kerjasama yang erat dengan orang tua. Kata Kunci: Jemaat Rantepasilo, Krisis spiritualitas, Pembinaan Iman, Pendidik Kristen, dan Remaja. ABSTRACT This research is motivated by the spiritual crisis among adolescents in the Rantepasasilo congregation, characterized by declining attendance and deviant behaviors such as smoking, drinking alcohol, and gambling. The aim of the study is to analyze the role of Christian educators in anticipating this crisis. Theoretically, this research is grounded in the concepts of spirituality and Christian education, which emphasize a balanced relationship with God, others, and oneself. The method used is qualitative, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that Christian educators have implemented their teaching and development roles, but these have not been optimal due to irrelevant methods and weak synergy between the church and the family. Their most effective role is seen as mentors, role models, and friends who build a strong foundation of faith and collaborate closely with parents.
