Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji tahapan eksistensi beragama Jemaat Buntu Masakke’ dengan menggunakan perspektif filsafat Soren Aabey Kierkegaard. Permasalahan utama yang diangkat ialah pengejewantahan ajaran-ajaran ke-Kristenan dalam kehidupan sehari -hari dan pengalaman eksistensial jemaat dengan juga melihat sejarah Gereja Jemaat Buntu Masakke’ yang merupakan salah satu Jemaat tertua di Klasis Sangalla’. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori dari salah satu filsuf yaitu Soren Aabey Kierkegaard dengan tiga tahapan eksistensial manusia yakni: Estetis, Etis dan Religius. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus dan menggunakan pendekatan fenomenologi. Kesimpulan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Jemaat Buntu Masakke’ masih mengelilingi tahapan Estetis-Etis walaupun berstatus sebagai Gereja tertua di Klasis Sangalla’. Kata kunci: Soren Aabey Kierkegaard, Jemaat Buntu Masakke’, Estetis, Etis, Religius. ABSTRACT This study aims to examine the stages of religious existence of the Buntu Masakke' Congregation using the philosophical perspective of Soren Aabey Kierkegaard. The main issues raised are the embodiment of Christian teachings in daily life and the congregation's existential experiences. This study also examines the history of the Buntu Masakke' Congregation, one of the oldest congregations in the Sangalla' Classis. This study utilizes the theory of philosopher Soren Aabey Kierkegaard, which outlines three stages of human existence: Aesthetic, Ethical, and Religious. The research method used is qualitative, using a case study approach and a phenomenological approach. The study concludes that the Buntu Masakke' Congregation still navigates the Aesthetic-Ethical stages despite its status as the oldest church in the Sangalla' Classis.
