Abstract

Yusmi Diana Sampe, 2020196673. “ Studi Teologis Diakonia Transformatif Menurut John Calvin Dan Implementasinya Di Gereja Toraja Jemaat Pniel Ranteorongan.” Skripsi. Pembimbing I : Dr. Semuel Tokam, M.Th dan Pembimbing II : Fajar Kelana, M.Th. Tulisan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh implementasi diakonia transformatif menurut John Calvin. Dalam kehidupan anggota jemaat, belum merasakan secara merata mengenai dampak dari pelaksaan diakonia transformatif di Jemaat Pniel Ranteorongan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan diakonia transformatif menurut John Calvin dan implementasinya di dalam jemaat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif sebagai teknik analisis data. Dari hasil analisis maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa diakonia transformatif merupakan salah satu tugas gereja. Untuk memberitakan Firman Allah sebagai dasar pelaksanaan diakonia transformatif dalam jemaat. Pelaksanaan diakonia tranformatif dalam kehidupan di Jemaat Pniel Ranteorongan semakin mempererat kebersamaan dan kepedulian terhadap sesama bagi yang membutuhkan bantuan. "A Theological Study of Transformative Diakonia According to John Calvin and Its Implementation in the Toraja Church of the Peniel Ranteorongan Congregation." Thesis. Supervisor I: Dr. Semuel Tokam, M.Th and Supervisor II: Fajar Kelana, M.Th. This paper is motivated by the implementation of transformative diakonia according to John Calvin. In the lives of congregation members, the impact of the implementation of transformative diakonia in the Peniel Ranteorongan Congregation has not been felt evenly. The purpose of this study is to describe transformative diakonia according to John Calvin and its implementation within the congregation. This study uses qualitative research methods as data analysis techniques. From the analysis, it can be concluded that transformative diakonia is one of the church's duties. To proclaim the Word of God is the basis for implementing transformative diakonia in the congregation. The implementation of transformative diakonia in the life of the Peniel Ranteorongan Congregation further strengthens togetherness and concern for others who need help.
