Abstract
ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze and describe the role of holistic mission for young widows resulting from divorce in Balabatu Village, Tanduk Kalua District, Mamasa Regency. Using a qualitative phenomenological approach and Christopher Wright's holistic mission theory, this study reveals that the implementation of holistic mission in the village is still in its early stages and is uneven. Understanding of holistic mission among the church, village government, and young widows themselves shows significant gaps. Spiritual and pastoral care is more often provided before the divorce, while post-divorce care is general and less addressing the specific needs of young widows. Socio-economic services are also still minimal because young widows are considered still productive. However, the impact of divorce is very complex, encompassing emotional distress, social stigma, and economic burden. Therefore, a proactive and sustainable service approach is needed, in accordance with the theology of holistic mission that emphasizes the restoration of full human dignity. Keywords: Holistic Mission, Young Widow, Divorce.
