Abstract

Kata kunci: Tradisi, Wora Sinci, Emile Durkheim, Solidaritas Sosial, Suku Pamona ABSTRACT This study examines the socio-theological values in the wora sinci tradition carried out by the Pamona tribe in Meko Village. This tradition is a death ritual that involves all levels of society actively and collectively. The purpose of this study is to see how the wora sinci tradition reflects social solidarity and Christian values. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with Emile Durkheim's theory of social solidarity and Stephen B. Bevans' synthesis model as the basis for analysis. The results of the study show that wora sinci creates mechanical solidarity and collective energy in society. In addition, values such as love, hospitality, and cross-generational education present in this tradition are in line with the teachings of the Bible. The wora sinci tradition is not only a cultural ritual, but also a space for the proclamation of God's love contextually through the daily lives of the community.
