Abstract

Jefri. 2320207402 judul skripsi Analisi peran misiologis PPGT dalam merangkul persekutuan ibadah pemuda gereja toraja di jemaat ebenhaezer pondingao’ klasis masanda dibawah bimbingan bapak Dr. Semuel Tokam, M.Th selaku pembibing I dan bapak Andarias Tandi Sitamu, M.Th selaku pembimbing II. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana Persekutuan Pemuda Gereja Toraja (PPGT) di Jemaat Ebenhaezer Pondingao’ menjalankan peran misiologisnya dalam merangkul keterlibatan pemuda dalam persekutuan ibadah. Fenomena rendahnya partisipasi aktif pemuda menjadi latar belakang penting yang mendorong dilakukannya penelitian ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif-deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi terhadap majelis jemaat, pengurus PPGT, dan anggota PPGT yang aktif maupun tidak aktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran misiologis PPGT meliputi penumbuhan kesadaran iman, penerapan pendekatan kontekstual dan relasional, serta strategi pelayanan yang inklusif dan partisipatoris. Kendala utama yang dihadapi PPGT bersumber dari tantangan internal seperti kurangnya kesadaran iman, rasa minder, serta keterbatasan kaderisasi, dan tantangan eksternal seperti pengaruh lingkungan dan minimnya pembaruan ibadah. Meskipun demikian, dampak positif dari pelayanan misiologis PPGT terlihat jelas dalam pertumbuhan kehidupan rohani pemuda serta peningkatan dinamika pelayanan di tengah jemaat. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa PPGT memiliki peran strategis dalam misi gereja dan harus terus diberdayakan sebagai agen transformasi spiritual dan sosial, baik di dalam gereja maupun dalam konteks kehidupan pemuda masa kini. This study aims to analyze how the Toraja Church Youth Fellowship (PPGT) in the Ebenhaezer Pondingao’ congregation carries out its missiological role in embracing youth involvement in worship fellowship. The phenomenon of low active participation of youth is an important background that encourages this research. This study uses a qualitative-descriptive approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation of the congregation council, PPGT administrators, and active and inactive PPGT members. The research findings indicate that the missiological role of the PPGT includes fostering faith awareness, implementing contextual and relational approaches, and implementing inclusive and participatory ministry strategies. The main obstacles faced by the PPGT stem from internal challenges such as a lack of faith awareness, feelings of inferiority, and limited cadre development, as well as external challenges such as environmental influences and minimal worship renewal. Nevertheless, the positive impact of the PPGT's missiological ministry is clearly evident in the spiritual growth of young people and the improvement of ministry dynamics within the congregation. This study concludes that PPGT has a strategic role in the church's mission and must continue to be empowered as an agent of spiritual and social transformation, both within the church and in the context of the lives of today's youth.
