Abstract

Tulisan skripsi ini, merupakan riset terhadap filosofi “Debata titanan tallu” dalam Aluk Mappurondo di Rantepalado yang merupakan konsep ketuhanan yang dipercaya. Riset ini dilatar belakangi dari beberapa asumsi-asumsi negatif terhadap penghayat kepercayaan Aluk Mappurondo di Rantepalado khususnya. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah mencari penjelasan filosofis dan rasional dari konsep “debata titanan tallu” untuk dapat memahami konsep ketuhanan Aluk Mappurondo. Adapun metode penelitian yang diangkat penulis menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan filsafat ketuhanan Franz Magnis Suseno. Hasil interpretasi oleh penulis adalah Aluk Mappurondo juga mengakui dan percaya akan adanya Tuhan yang mereka sebut sebagai Debata/Debata to metampa dan dijelaskan dalam konsep “Debata titanan tallu”. Adapun beberapa penamaan kepada Debata dalam konsep tersebut adalah “Debata to metampa, Debata to memana’ dan Debata to meolaam”. Ketiga penamaan tersebut tidak menjelaskan bahwa ada tiga Debata yang mereka sembah, melainkan menjelaskan sifat dari Debata yang “mamase” (penuh kasih) terhadap semua ciptaan. Adapun kepercayaan terhadap semua realitas memiliki Tuhannya masing-masing, untuk menjelaskan bahwa Debata ada disemua tempat dan menyatu dengan semua ciptaanNya, alam semesta pada umumnya. Kata Kunci: Aluk Mappurondo, “Debata titanan tallu”, Filsafat, Ketuhanan ABSTRACT This thesis is research on the philosophy of “Debata titanan tallu” in Aluk Mappurondo in Rantepalado, which is a concept of trust in the gods. This research is based on several negative assumptions towards the adherents of the Aluk Mappurondo belief in Rantepalado in particular. The purpose of this study is to find a philosophical and rational explanation of the concept of “Debata titanan tallu” in order to understand the concept of the gods of Aluk Mappurondo. The research method used by the author is qualitative research with the philosophy of the gods approach of Franz Magnis Suseno. The results of the author's interpretation are that Aluk Mappurondo also recognizes and believes in the existence of God, which they call Debata/Debata to metampa and is explained in the concept of “Debata titanan tallu”. Some of the instillations of Debata in this concept are “Debata to metampa, Debata to memana, and Debata to meolaam/mekambi”. The three names do not explain that there are three Debata that they worship, but rather explain the nature of Debata, who is “mamase” (full of love) towards all creations. As for the belief that all realities have their own gods, to explain that Debata are everywhere and are one with all His creations, the universe in general.
