Abstract
Penelitian ini membahas tentang Teologi Keugaharian sebagaimana tercermin dalam Lukas 3:10-14 dan bagaimana prinsip-prinsip Keugaharian berimplikasi terhadap perilaku hedonisme pemuda dan melihat relevansinya dalam menjawab tantangan gaya hidup konsumtif yang berkembang di kalangan pemuda gereja masa kini. Penelitian ini menganalisis tentang prinsip keugaharian dalam Injil Lukas 3:10-14 dan implikasinya bagi perilaku hedonisme pemuda di Gereja Toraja Jemaat Sion Anutapura Palu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan hermeneutika, di mana analisis naratif digunakan sebagai metode untuk menafsir Injil Lukas 3:10-14. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kecenderungan hedonistik pada pemuda, terutama dalam aspek konsumtif dan kesenangan sesaat. Namun, pemahaman dan penghayatan prinsip keugaharian seperti hidup berbagi, keadilan, kejujuran, dan pengendalian diri dapat membantu mengatasi hal ini. Oleh karena itu, penting untuk menanamkan prinsip keugaharian dari Injil Lukas sebagai dasar pembinaan pemuda dalam menghadapi tantangan gaya hidup modern. ABSTRACT This study discusses the Theology of Sociability as reflected in Luke 3:10-14 and how the principles of Sociability have implications for the hedonistic behavior of young people and their relevance in responding to the challenges of a consumerist lifestyle that is developing among today's youth. This research employs a qualitative method with a hermeneutical approach, utilizing narrative analysis as the interpretative method for Luke 3:10–14. Research findings indicate a tendency towards hedonism among adolescents, particularly concerning consumerism and the pursuit of momentary pleasures. However, understanding and internalizing the principles of simplicity—such as sharing, justice, honesty, and self-control—can help overcome these issues. Therefore, it is crucial to instill the values of simplicity taught in the Gospel of Luke as a fundamental approach to youth development in facing the challenges of modern lifestyles.
