Abstract
Kehidupan gereja yang holistik menuntut pelayanan yang inklusif bagi semua jemaat, termasuk mereka yang menyandang autisme. Visi Gereja Toraja yang memberikan pelayanan bagi semua, pelayanan untuk semua yang harus dicapai oleh Gereja Toraja di antara keberagaman karakter dalam jemaat. Di Jemaat Limbong, keberadaan anggota jemaat autisme menjadi tantangan bagi Majelis Gereja dalam memenuhi kebutuhan spiritual mereka. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menguraikan strategi pelayanan spiritual yang efektif bagi autisme. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kualitatif dengan mengumpulkan data, observasi dan wawancara. Hasil wawancara dengan beberapa informan memberikan gambaran untuk memberikan strategi pelayanan kepada autisme dan juga kepada orang tua kurangnya pelayanan khusus mendorong perlunya strategi pelayanan berbasis teori pikiran, yang mencakup pendekatan kepada anak autisme, bimbingan bagi orang tua, serta pemahaman jemaat untuk menciptakan lingkungan yang menerima dan mendukung. Strategi ini mendukung pencapaian visi Gereja Toraja: "Pelayanan bagi semua,” melalui kehadiran dan peran RBM di tengah jemaat. Kata kunci: Strategi Pelayanan, Autisme, Visi Gereja Toraja. ABSTRACT A holistic church life demands inclusive ministry for all congregants, including those with autism. The vision of the Toraja Church, which is to provide ministry for all, must be realized amidst the diversity of personalities within the congregation. In the Limbong Congregation, the presence of members with autism presents a challenge for the Church Council in meeting their spiritual needs. The purpose of this study is to describe effective spiritual ministry strategies for individuals with autism. The research method used is qualitative, involving data collection through observation and interviews. The interview results from several informants provide insight into strategies for ministering to individuals with autism, as well as to their parents. The lack of specialized ministry highlights the need for a service strategy based on the Theory of Mind, which includes approaches to children with autism, guidance for parents, and congregation-wide understanding to create an accepting and supportive environment. This strategy supports the realization of the Toraja Church’s vision: "Ministry for all,” through the presence and role of the RBM (Children’s Ministry Board) within the congregation.
