Abstract

Latar belakang Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji mengenai makna dan nilai-nilai ritual kokoan lombu dalam tradisi rambu solo’ di Mamullu Pana’ melalui perspektif teologi kontekstual Stephen B. Bevans. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif untuk memahami pengalaman dan persepsi masyarakat Desa Mamullu tentang ritual kokoan lombu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ritual kokoan lombu memiliki makna sebagai bentuk doa dan penghormatan kepada orang yang sudah meninggal, serta nilai-nilai kekeluargaan dan kebersamaan yang kuat. Penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa ritual kokoan lombu dapat dipandang sebagai bentuk teologi kontekstual yang sesuai dengan model antropologi Stephen B. Bevans, karena ritual ini menunjukkan bagaimana masyarakat setempat menghayati iman dengan konteks lokal dengan cara yang unik dan kontekstual. Penelitian ini dapat memberikan kontribusi pada pengembangan teologi kontekstual dan pemahaman tentang budaya lokal, serta dapat membantu dalam melestarikan budaya dan tradisi lokal masyarakat Desa Mamullu. Bevans ABSTRACT This study aims to understand the meaning and values of the kokoan lombu ritual in the rambu solo’ tradition in Mamullu Pana’ through the perspective of Stephen B. Bevans’ contextual thology. This study uses a qualitative method whit a descriptive approach to understand the experiences and perceptions of the Mamullu Village community about the kokoan lombu ritual. The results show that the kokoan lombu ritual has a meaning as a form of prayer and respect for the deceased, as will as strong family and togetherness values. This study also Shows That the kokoan lombu ritual can be seen as a form of contextual theology that firs Stephen B. Bevans’ anthropological model, because that ritual demonstrates how local communities experience faith in a unique and contextual way. This study can contribute to the development of contextual theology and understanding of local culture, and can help preserve the local culture and traditions of the Mamullu village community.
