Abstract

Desa Seriti merupakan tempat para pengungsi umat Kristen setelah mendapat intimidasi, penindasan, dan pembunuhan dalam peristiwa DI/TII di Tana Luwu yang dipimpin oleh Kahar Muzakkar saat itu. Memori kolektif pasca masa DI/TII 1951-1965 memberikan pengaruh terhadap hubungan umat Kristen-Islam di desa Seriti. Pasca peristiwa tersebut umat Kristen-Islam tidak sepenuhnya menampakkan sikap toleransi (moderasi beragama). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguraikan memori kolektif umat Kristen di desa Seriti dengan menggunakan teori Maurice Halbwachs dan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi moderasi beragama dalam hubungan umat Kristen-Islam. Dalam penelitian ini, penulis menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan Fenomenologi. Hasil penelitian penulis mendeskripsikan bahwa, memori kolektif umat Kristen masih memberikan luka, sehingga mempengaruhi relasi umat Kristen-Islam terutama dalam acara dukacita. Moderasi beragama sudah terimplementasi tetapi belum efektif. Moderasi beragama dinyatakan dalam bentuk kasih, sikap toleransi. Luka lama dapat dibalut dengan baik dengan sikap kasih yang sungguh-sungguh dan sedapatnya mengingat peristiwa masa lalu dengan menggunakan teori rekonstruksi Halbwachs. Kata kunci : Memori kolektif, Halbwachs, dan Moderasi Beragama. ABSTRACT Seriti Village is a place for Christian refugees after being intimidated, oppressed, and killed in the DI/TII incident in Tana Luwu led by Kahar Muzakkar at that time. Collective memory after the DI/TII period 1951-1965 influenced the relationship between Christians and Muslims in Seriti Village. After the incident, Christians and Muslims did not fully show an attitude of tolerance (religious moderation). This study aims to describe the collective memory of Christians in Seriti Village using Maurice Halbwachs' theory and to describe the implementation of religious moderation in Christian-Muslim relations. In this study, the author uses qualitative research with a Phenomenological approach. The results of the author's study describe that the collective memory of Christians still leaves wounds, thus affecting Christian-Muslim relations, especially in mourning events. Religious moderation has been implemented but is not yet effective. Religious moderation is expressed in the form of love, an attitude of tolerance. Old wounds can be bandaged well with an attitude of sincere love and as much as possible remembering past events using Halbwachs' reconstruction theory.
