Abstract
Sepriana Kombong Samaya, 2025, menyusun skripsi dengan judul “Bagaimana Pendampingan Pendidikan Kristiani berdasarkan Roma 12:12 Bagi Anak Broken Home di Gereja Toraja Jemaat Pniel Se’pon Batu Messila” di bawah bimbingan Dr. Yonatan Sumarto, M.Th dan Rinaldus Tanduklangi, M.Pd.K. Latar belakang penelitian ini berfokus pada kenyataan bahwa beberapa anak yang menjadi korban perceraian orang tua mengalami dampak negatif yang signifikan terhadap perkembangan psikologis, emosional, dan spiritual mereka. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan bagaimana pendampingan pendidikan Kristiani dapat membantu anak-anak broken home dalam mengatasi tantangan yang mereka hadapi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan wawancara mendalam dan observasi terhadap dua anggota majelis gereja, dua orang tua, dan tiga anak broken home. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa anak-anak dari keluarga broken home di Gereja Toraja Jemaat Pniel Se’pon Batu Messila mengalami dampak psikologis dan spiritual negatif, seperti kecemasan dan kesulitan menjalin hubungan sosial. Namun, gereja memainkan peran krusial dalam pendampingan mereka. Gereja mengimplementasikan ajaran Roma 12:12 dengan mengajarkan pengharapan dalam Kristus, kesabaran dalam kesesakan, dan ketekunan dalam doa, melalui berbagai strategi pendampingan seperti diskusi, pelatihan konseling, dan dukungan dari pendeta, majelis, serta guru sekolah Minggu. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan bagi orang tua dan pendidik dalam mendukung pembentukan nilai-nilai Kristiani, khususnya dalam keluarga broken home. Kata kunci: Pendampingan Pendidikan Kristiani, Roma 12:12, anak broken home, perkembangan psikologis ABSTRACT Sepriana Kombong Samaya, 2025, wrote a thesis entitled “How to Provide Christian Educational Assistance Based on Romans 12:12 for Children from Broken Homes in the Toraja Church of the Pniel Se’pon Batu Messila Congregation” under the guidance of Dr. Yonatan Sumarto, M.Th and Rinaldus Tanduklangi, M.Pd.K. The background of this study focuses on the fact that some children who are victims of parental divorce experience significant negative impacts on their psychological, emotional, and spiritual development. The purpose of this study is to analyze and describe how Christian educational assistance can help children from broken homes overcome the challenges they face. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach with in-depth interviews and observations of two church council members, two parents, and three children from broken homes. The results of the study indicate that children from broken homes in the Toraja Church of the Pniel Se’pon Batu Messila Congregation experience negative psychological and spiritual impacts, such as anxiety and difficulty establishing social relationships. However, the church plays a crucial role in their assistance. The Church implements the teachings of Romans 12:12 by teaching hope in Christ, patience in adversity, and perseverance in prayer, through various mentoring strategies such as discussions, counseling training, and support from pastors, congregations, and Sunday school teachers. This research is expected to provide insight for parents and educators in supporting the formation of Christian values, particularly in broken homes.
