Abstract

Mengasihi adalah perintah Allah kepada manusia, supaya manusia dapat mengasihi sesamanya seperti mengasihi dirinya sendiri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui konsep Kasih menurut Injil Yohanes dengan pendekatan Studi Eksploratif dan Relevansinya bagi orang Kristen. Pada penelitian ini digunakan metode kualitatif melalui pendekatan studi kepustakaan. Penulis menggunakan pendekatan eksploratif dalam menganalisis kasih dalam Injil Yohanes. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan kata kasih dalam Injil Yohanes lebih banyak menggunakan kata Agaphe daripada kata Phileo. Dalam Injil Yohanes menemukan jika kasih terhadap Allah serta kasih terhadap sesama adalah hal utama sebagai prinsip penting. Orang Kristen melakukan perbuatan kasih sebagai identitas serta prinsip untuk menumbuhkan hubungan terhadap Tuhan serta sesama yang dinyatakan dalam tindakan nyata seperti mengasihi tanpa pamrih, menunjukkan kasih di lingkungan keluarga dan di tempat kerja. Kata Kunci: Agape, Eksploratif, Injil Yohanes, Philia. Abstract Love is God’s command to humans, so that humans can love their fellow humans as they love themselves. This study aims to determine the concept of Love according to the Gospel of John with an Exploratory Study approach and its Relevance for Christians. This study used a qualitative method through a literature study approach. The author used an exploratory approach in analyzing love in the Gospel of John. The results of the analysis show that the use of the word love in the Gospel of John uses the word Agaphe more than the word Phileo. In the Gospel of John, it is found that love for God and love for others are the main things as important principles. Christians carry out acts of love as an identity and principle to grow relationships with God and others which are expressed in real actions such as loving selflessly, showing love in the family environment and at work.
