Abstract

Koanti Fira Martinus Bomba, "Peran Edukasi Teologi Seksualitas Sebagai Upaya Preventif Terhadap Tindakan LGBT Bagi Kalangan Pemuda Di GTM Jemaat Mandai". Di bawah bimbingan Darius, M.Th dan Merlin Brenda A. Lumintang, M.Th. Maraknya keberadaan kelompok LGBT saat ini secara tidak langsung mngancam brbagai aspek kehiupan masyarakat. Tidak hanya mengancam kehidupan beriman, LGBT juga mengancam kesehatan dam kehidupan sosial seseorang. Gereja yang secara tidak langsung berhubungan dengan kehidupan sosial harus melakukan tindakan untuk mencegah tindakan LGBT khususnya bagi kalangan pemuda. Penelitian ini dilakukan di GTM Jemaat Mandai, dengan tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran edukasi teologi seksualitas sebagai upaya preventif terhadap tindakan LGBT bagi kalangan pemuda di GTM jemaat Mandai. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik penelitian: Teknik penumpulan data, studi pustaka, wawancara dan teknik analisis data yaitu reduksi data, display data, dan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa GTM jemaat mandai telah melakukan edukasi mengenai teologi seksualitas di kalangan pemuda, yaitu dengan pengajaran di kelas katekisasi dan diskusi-diskusi dengan kelompok pemuda sebagai upaya untuk mencegah tindakan LGBT yang sedang marak saat ini terutama di lingkungan GTM jemaat mandai. The rise of the existence of LGBT groups indirectly threatens a person's life, not only threatens the life ofLGBT believers but also threatens the health and social life pfthe church which is indirectly related to social life This research was conducted at GTM Mandai Congregation, the aim is to describing the role of sexuality theology education as a preventive measure against LGBT actions for young people in GTM Mandai Congregation. The method which used in this research was qualitative research with research techniques: Data collection techniques, literature studies, interviews and data analysis techniques, namely data reduction, data display, and conclusions. The result of this research shows that the GTM Mandai congregation has conducted education about the theology ofsexuality among youth, by teaching in catechism classes and discussions with youth groups as an effort to prevent LGBT actions which are often happen currently, especially in the GTM Mandai congregation.
