Abstract

Herlis Turu Allo (2020197015), dengan topik "GEREJA DAN MASJID" Kajian Simbolis Rumah Ibadah Sebagai Simbol Kerukunan Antar Umat Beragama Di PT.IMIP. Dibawah bimbingan Darius,M.Th selaku pembimbing I dan Gayus Darius, M.Th selaku pembimbing II. Gereja dan Masjid yang dibangun secara berdampingan sebagai simbol kerukunan antar umat beragama. Apabila hal tersebut terus dipertahankan sikap saling menghargai dan menerima dalam lingkup kawasan PT.IMIP semakin baik. Hal tersebut sangat berpengaruh jika sesama umat beragama tidak menjunjung tinggi nilai toleransi karena itu penting untuk mengingatkan atau mengajarkan pentingnya hidup rukun dengan sesama walaupun tidak berlatar belakang yang sama. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi pustaka dan penelitian lapangan melalui wawancara. Melalui penelitian ini berupaya untuk memberikan pandangan mengenai dampak dari adanya rumah ibadah yang dibangun secara berdampingan. Rumah ibadah yang dibangun secara berdampingan sangat berpengaruh kepada masyarakat yang ada di kawasan PT.IMIP, memberikan pandangan kepada masyarakat untuk dapat hidup berdampingan dengan baik, menjunjung toleransi, saling menerima dan saling menghargai sesama. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa rumah ibadah telah menjadi simbol kerukunan, sehingga relasi antar umat beragama di PT.IMIP telah menjadi harmonis, dan damai. Kata Kunci: Simbol, Masjid, Gereja, Kerukunan. Abstract Herlis Turu Allo (2020197015), with the topic "CHURCHES AND MOSQUES" Study of Symbolic of Houses of Worship as Symbols Harmonization of Inter-Religious at PT.IMIP. Under the guidance ofDarius, M.Th as Lecturer I and Gayus Darius, M.Th as Lecturer II. Churches and mosques were built side by side as a Symbol of inter-religious harmony. If this continues to be developed mutual respect and acceptance within the scope ofthe PT.IMIP area will get better. This is very influential iffellow religious people do not uphold the value of tolerance because it is important to remind or teach the importance of living in harmony with others even though they do not have the sanie background. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with literature review and field research. Through this research, it seeks to provide views on the impact of having houses of worship built side by side. Houses of worship that are built side by side seek to provide a view to the community so that they can coexist well, uphold tolerance, mutual acceptance and mutual respect for each other. The results of this study indicate that the house of worship has become a Symbol of ethnicity, so that inter-religious relations at PT.IMIP have become harmonious and peaceful.
