Abstract
Kemajuan teknologi yang begitu cepat menciptakan berbagai jenis teknologi yang canggih untuk membantu manusia dalam menyelesaikan berbagai persoalan. Salah satu teknologi yang sangat maju dan populer era sekarang ialah Artificial Intelligence. Kehadiran Artificial Intelligence khususnya dikalangan mahasiswa memicu persoalan tentang bagaimana posisi Artificial Intelligence dan posisi mahasiswa yang seharusnya dalam dunia akademik. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk menganalisis secara kritis penggunaan teknologi Artificial Intelligence di kalangan mahasiswa IAKN Toraja menggunakan metode kualitatif melalui studi pustaka dan wawancara dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dengan wawancara dan literatur berbagai sumber yang berkaitan dengan isi dari penelitian ini. Data yang diperoleh akan dianalisa dengan menggunakan teori alienasi menurut Hegel, Feuerbah dan Karl Marx. Berdasarkan analisa data yang dilakukan diperoleh temuan bahwa dalam penggunaan Artificial Intelligence di kalangan mahasiswa menyebabkan keterasingan pada mahasiswa karena kurangnya kemampuan mahasiswa berpikir kritis dalam menggunakan teknologi Artificial Intelligence. Kata Kunci : Artificial Intelligence, Mahasiswa, Alienasi. ABSTRACT The rapid advancement of technology has given rise to various sophisticated technologies designed to assist humans in solving a wide range of problems. One such advanced and popular technology in the current era is Artificial Intelligence. The presence of Artificial Intelligence, particularly among university students, has sparked questions about the appropriate roles of both Artificial Intelligence and students in the academic world. This study aims to conduct a critical analysis of the use of Artificial Intelligence technology among students at IAKN Toraja using a qualitative method through a literature review and interviews with a descriptive approach. Data was collected through interviews and literature from various sources related to the content of this study. The collected data was analyzed using the theory of alienation according to Hegel, Feuerbach, and Karl Marx. The analysis revealed that the use of Artificial Intelligence among students has led to alienation due to a lack of critical thinking skills in utilizing this technology.
