Abstract

Sosok pendeta yang hadir dalam jemaat di anggap sebagai figur yang mampu membawa perubahan signifikan dalam pertumbuhan iman jemaat. Pendeta adalah orang yang di urapi atau diberi anggota khusus dari Allah untuk menyampaikan Firman-Nya dan bersaksi tentang kebenaran Kristus. Kehadiran pendeta dalam pelayanan di harapkan sebagai figur yang dapat menjadi panutan melalui gaya hidup (spiritualitas) di tengah-tengah pelayanannya. Namun kenyataan yang terjadi di Gereja Toraja Klasis Malimbong bahwa figur pendeta yang diharapkan oleh jemaat belum mampu menjawab kondisireal dan pergumulan yang dialami oleh warga jemaat. Faktanya ada beberapa oknum pendeta diberhentikan untuk sementara dalam hal ini, dikenakan disiplin gerejawi. Kondisi yang demikian menjadikan warga jemaat bingung dan bertanya-tanya bahkan menjadi trauma menerima kehadiran pendeta melayani dalam jemaat. Karena yang diharapkan dari diri seorang pendeta akan menjadi teladan, tetapi yang terjadi justru sebaliknya menjadikan iman jemaat semakin merosot dan imbasnya kepada pendeta tidak lagi dihargai sebagai orang yang ditokohkan dalam jemaat dan masyarakat. Berkaitan dengan itu maka penulis ingin mengetahui: bagaimana spiritualitas pendeta Gereja Toraja di Klasis Malimbong untuk mendapatkan data sehubungan topik di atas maka penulis melaksanakan penelitian dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian dilakukan dengan cara wawancara kepada beberapa pendeta serta anggota jemaat di Klasis Malimbong yang penulis anggap representatif mewakili jemaat. Dari hasil penelitian ini, setelah di analisis maka ditemukan gambaran bagaimana spiritualitas pendeta Gereja Toraja di Klasis Malimbong bagi pertumbuhan iman warga jemaat antara lain: pendeta sebagai gembala, pemimpin rohani, hamba, pendidik yang akan menuntun jemaat Tuhan ke jalan yang benar dengan tetap menjaga integritasnya serta meneladani gaya hidup (spiritualitas) Yesus sebagai hamba dan gembala yang baik. The pastor who is present in the church is considered as someone who is able to bring significant changes in the growth of the faith of the church. Pastors are people who are anointed or given special members of God to deliver His Word and testify of the truth of Christ. The presence of pastors in the ministry is expected to be a figure who can be a role model through lifestyle (spirituality) in the midst of his ministry. However, what happened in the Toraja Church, Malimbong Classic is a statue of a priest who is expected by the congregation who is unable to answer the conditions and struggles visited by church members. Actually there are some unscrupulous priests suspended for a while in this case, subject to ecclesiastical discipline. Such conditions make church members confused and ask questions instead of being traumatized by receiving pastors who serve in the congregation. Because what is expected of a pastor will be an example, but what happens on the contrary makes the faith of the congregation deteriorate and its impact on the pastor no longer raises the person featured in the church and community. Related to that, the writer wants to know: how is the spirituality of the toraja church pastor in Malimbong clasis to get data according to the above topic, the writer conducts research by getting qualitative. The study was conducted by interviewing several pastors and church members in the Malimbong Clasis who the authors consider representative to represent the congregation. From the results of this study, after analyzing the fmdings about the spirituality of the Toraja Church pastor in the Malimbong Classic for the growth of the faith of the congregation among others: pastors as pastors of religious leaders, servants, educators who will lead God's people to the path of truly believing with his help emulate Jesus' lifestyle (spirituality) as a good servant and shepherd.
