Abstract

Andhika Noval M. L (2020186014) untuk menulis skripsi dengan judul: Teologi Interkultural di Gereja Toraja Jemaat Lakipadada Sungguminasa. Penulisan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh sejarah berdirinya Gereja Toraja Jemaat Lakipadada Sungguminasa. Sikap racist atau rasisme oknum berlatarbelakang suku non Toraja pada salah satu jemaat berlatarbelakang suku Toraja yang terjadi pada tahun 1963 dimana pada saat itu masih berbentuk persekutuan Oikumene di bawah pelayanan GPIB (Gereja Protestan Indonesia di bagian Barat). Gereja Toraja Jemaat Lakipadada Sungguminasa kini juga menghadapi tantangan yang sama yaitu jemaat dengan keberagaman latarbelakang budaya dan suku. Sikap racist atau rasisme bertentangan dengan misi gereja yaitu bersekutu, bersaksi dan melayani. Teologi interkultural hadir dalam melihat relasi antara gereja dengan kebudayaan yang bersilangan (antar budaya). Implementasi teologi interkultural di Gereja Toraja Jemaat Lakipadada Sungguminasa dapat dilihat dari pelayanan diakonia, pelibatan dalam kegiatan pelayanan, relasi antar jemaat dan sikap toleransi dalam peribadahan. Penelitian ini juga didukung menggunakan dialog interkultural sebagai implementasi teologi interkultural. Kata kunci : teologi interkultural, dialog interkultural, rasisme ABSTRACT Andhika Noval M. L (2020186014) to write a thesis with the title: Intercultural Theology Between Congregations in the Toraja Church of the Lakipadada Sungguminasa Congregation. This writing is motivated by the history of the establishment of the Toraja Church of the Lakipadada Sungguminasa Congregation. The racist attitude or racism of persons with a non-Toraja ethnic background in one of the congregations with a Toraja ethnic background occurred in 1963 when at that time it was still in the form of an Oikumene alliance under the ministry of the GPIB (Indonesian Protestant Church in the West). The Toraja Church of the Congregation of Lakipadada Sungguminasa is now also facing the same challenges, namely congregations with diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds. Racist or racist attitudes are contrary to the mission of the church, namely fellowship, witness and service. Intercultural theology is present in seeing the relationship between the church and cross-cultural (intercultural). The implementation of intercultural theology in the Toraja Congregation of Lakipadada Sungguminasa Church can be seen from the ministry of diakonia, involvement in service activities, relations between congregations and tolerance in worship. This research is also supported by using intercultural dialogue as an implementation of intercultural theology. Keywords: intercultural theology, intercultural dialogue, racism.
