Abstract

EFRAIM SALAMBA, “Pendidikan Agama Kristen Kontekstual Berbasis Falsafah Aluk Ma’lolo-Tau Dalam Membangun Karakter Moral Pemuda Di Era Postmodern” (Bapak Dr. Abraham S Tanggulungan, M,Si dan Dr. Selvianti, M.Th). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana relevansi falsafah Aluk Ma’lolo Tau bagi Pendidikan Agama Kristen dalam pembentukan karakter moral pemuda di lembang Leatung Matallo pada era postmodern Berdasarkan jenisnya, penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Lokasi penelitian di Lembang Leatung Matallo, kecamatan Sangalla’, Kabupaten Tana Toraja. Sumber data diperoleh dari informan. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan 2 teknik yaitu studi pustaka dan studi lapangan, metode yang digunakan di lapangan yaitu observasi dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data ada empat langkah yaitu reduksi data, display(penyajian data), interpretasi, kesimpulan. Penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa Aluk Ma’lolo Tau merupakan inti dari kehidupan masyarakat Toraja. Aluk Ma’lolo Tau merupakan falsafah yang benar-benar mengatur kehidupan manusia. Tradisi ini berfungsi sebagai sistem nilai yang holistik, mencakup hubungan manusia dengan sesama, alam, dan Sang Pencipta. Aluk Ma’lolo Tau menanamkan prinsip harmoni dan keseimbangan dalam harmoni dengan Lolo Tanaman, Lolo patuan atau Tri lolona (Tallu Lolona) kehidupan manusia. Dalam Pendidikan Agama Kristen nilai Aluk Ma’lolo Tau sangat relevan dan srategi untuk diintegrasikan dan upaya untuk meningkatjan pendidikan yang kontekstual khususnya bagi generasi muda di era postmodern. Aluk Ma’lolo Tau bisa jadi solusi atau filter untuk menghadapi pengaruh nilai-nilai di era postmodern. Kata kunci : Aluk, Ma’lolo Tau, Karakter, Pendidikan Agama Kristen, Kontekstual. ABSTRACT Efraim Salamba, “Contextual Christian Religious Education Based on the Philosophy of Aluk Ma’lolo-Tau in Building the Moral Character of Youth in the Postmodern Era” (Supervisors: Dr. Abraham S. Tanggulungan, M.Si, and Dr. Selvianti, M.Th) This study aims to explore the relevance of the Aluk Ma’lolo Tau philosophy for Christian Religious Education in shaping the moral character of youth in Leatung Matallo Village during the postmodern era. This research employs a qualitative methodology. The study was conducted in Lembang Leatung Matallo, Sangalla’ District, Tana Toraja Regency. Data sources were obtained from informants. Data collection techniques included literature review and field studies, with observation and interviews serving as the primary methods in the field. Data analysis followed four steps: data reduction, data display, interpretation, and conclusion. The findings reveal that Aluk Ma’lolo Tau forms the core of Torajan community life. It serves as a holistic value system governing human relationships with others, nature, and the Creator. This tradition embodies the principles of harmony and balance, emphasizing alignment with Lolo Tanaman, Lolo Patuan, or Tri Lolona (Tallu Lolona) the three dimensions of human life. In the context of Christian Religious Education, the values of Aluk Ma’lolo Tau are highly relevant and strategic for integration, particularly in efforts to enhance contextual education for youth in the postmodern era. Moreover, Aluk Ma’lolo Tau offers a solution or filter to address the influences of postmodern values. Keywords: Aluk, Ma’lolo Tau, Character, Christian Religious Education, Contextual.
