Abstract
Karakter siswa yang masih kurang, ditunjukkan dengan ketidak jujuran siswa dalam mengerjakan tugas, terlihat banyak siswa menyontek saat mengerjakan tugas, meniru tugas teman, tidak bersikap ramah atau sopan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis pembentukan karakter siswa berdasarkan perspektif Thomas Lickona pada pendidikan Agama Kristen di Kelas IV SD Negeri 6 Mengkendek. Metode penelitian menggunakan penelitian karakter dan data dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru di SD Negeri 6 Mengkendek membentuk karakter siswa dari tiga aspek utama dari perspektif Thomas Lickona, yang pertama pengetahuan moral; dimana guru mengajarkan melalui tindakan terkait kesadaran moral, pengetahuan nilai moral dan pengambilan keputusan. Kedua perasaan moral; guru mengembangkan harga diri, empati, mencintai hal yang baik, dan menggunakan hati nurani dalam melakukan tindakan yang baik. Ketiga tindakan moral; guru mengembangkan karakter,agar siswa mampu mengelolah pikiran dan perasaan dalam bertindak sesuai dengan kompetensi, keinginan, dan kebiasaan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari secara nyata. Kata kunci: Pengetahuan Moral, Perasaan Moral, dan Tindakan Moral, jujur ABSTRACT Students’ character is still lacking, shown by students’ dishonesty in carrying out their assignments, it is seen that many students cheat when doing their many students cheat when doing their assignments, imitate their friends’ assignments, do not speak in a friendly or polite manner. The aim of this research is to analyze student character formation based on Thomas Lickona’s perspective on Chistian religious education in class IV of SD Negeri 6 Mengkendek. Character research method and data collected through observation and interviews. The results of the research show that state elementary school 6 teachers are short on shaping student’s character from three main aspects from Thomas Lickona’s perspective, the first is moral knowledge; where the teacher teaches through actions related to moral awareness, knowledge of moral values, and decision making, both moral feelings; teachers develop self-estteem, empathy, love good things, and use conscience in carrying out good actions. Third moral action; Teachers develop character, so that students are able to manage thoughts and feelings in acting in accordance with competencies, desires and habits in real daily life.
