Abstract
Citrayanti Sarangnga (2020186012) Tahun 2018 menyusun skrispsi dengan judul Diakonia Karitatif: Kajian Teologis dan sosiologis Respon Non Kristen Terhadap Pelayanan Diakonia Karitatif DI Gereja Toraja Jemaat Tanjung Marannu. Dibimbing oleh Dr. Salmon Pamantung Ph.D, dan Karnia Melda Batu Randan, M.Th. Judul ini dipilih dengan latar belakang pelayanan diakonia karitatif Gereja Toraja Jemaat Tanjung Marannu kepada non-Kristen merupakan hal penting dan menarik karena salah satu tugas dan panggilan gereja yaitu melayani dari bahasa Yunani (Diakonia) tidak semua pelayanan Diakonia Karitatif kepada Non Kristen di lakukan oleh Gereja Toraja mengingat konteks Toraja yang kaya akan tradisi dan kepercayaan lokal.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menguraikan respon non-Kristen dan menganalisi secara teologis sosiologis. Teori dasar meliputi panggilan diakonia gereja dan interaksi simbolik. Untuk mendapatkan data sehubungan dengan topik maka penulis melakukan Metode penelitian yaitu kualitatif yang dilakukan melalui wawancara dan observasi. Respon masyarakat non-Kristen terhadap Pelayanan Diakonia Karitatif di Gereja Toraja Jemaat Tanjung Marannu Klasis Makassar sangat apresiatif. Mereka menganggap pelayanan tersebut inklusif, adil, dan memberikan manfaat yang nyata bagi peningkatan kesejahteraan, tanpa memandang perbedaan keyakinan agama. Adanya harapan untuk peningkatan kualitas dan kuantitas bantuan juga menunjukkan antusiasme dan ekspektasi yang tinggi terhadap peran gereja di masa depan dalam masyarakat yang beragam ini. secara teologis menunjukkan kesesuaian dengan tujuan diakonia gereja. secara sosiologis mengungkap interaksi simbolik kompleks individu dan gereja. Kesimpulannya, pelayanan telah memberi manfaat meski perlu peningkatan. Kata Kunci: diakonia karitatif, respons non-Kristen, kajian teologis sosiologis. ABSTRACT Citrayanti Sarangnga (2020186012) In 2018, she wrote a thesis with the title Charitative Diakonia: A Theological and Sociological Study of Non-Christian Responses to Charitative Diakonia Services IN the Toraja Church of the Tanjung Marannu Congregation. Supervised by Dr. Salmon Selamatung Ph.D, and Karnia Melda Batu Randan, M.Th. This title was chosen with the background that the Toraja Church of Tanjung Marannu Congregation's charitable diakonia service to non-Christians is important and interesting because one of the duties and vocations of the church is to serve from the Greek language (Diakonia). Not all Charitative Diakonia services to Non-Christians are carried out by the Church Toraja considering the Toraja context which is rich in local traditions and beliefs. The aim of this research is to describe the non-Christian response and analyze it sociologically. The basic theory includes the church's diaconal vocation and symbolic interaction. To obtain data related to the topic, the author used a qualitative research method carried out through interviews and observation. The response of the non-Christian community to the Charitative Diakonia Service at the Toraja Church of the Tanjung Marannu Klasis Makassar Congregation was very appreciative. They consider the service to be inclusive, fair, and provide real benefits for improving welfare, regardless of differences in religious beliefs. The hope for increasing the quality and quantity of aid also shows enthusiasm and high expectations for the church's future role in this diverse society. theologically shows conformity with the goals of church diakonia. sociologically reveals the complex symbolic interactions of individuals and the church. In conclusion, the service has provided benefits although it needs improvement. Keywords: charismatic diakonia, non-Christian response, sociological theological studies.
