Abstract
ABSTRAK Penelitian ini mengkaji fenomena kenakalan pemuda, khususnya terkait konsumsi minuman keras, di Jemaat Bukit Zaitun Bontang melalui tinjauan sosio-misiologis. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor penyebab, dampak, serta merumuskan strategi penanganan masalah ini. Metode penelitian melibatkan wawancara dengan berbagai pihak termasuk pendeta, pemuda yang terlibat, orang tua, ketua RT, dan pengurus Persekutuan Pemuda Gereja Toraja (PPGT). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor utama penyebab kenakalan pemuda meliputi kurangnya perhatian orang tua, kondisi keluarga yang tidak harmonis, pengaruh teman sebaya, dan tekanan sosial ekonomi. Dampak negatif teridentifikasi pada tingkat individu, Persekutuan Pemuda, dan masyarakat luas. Analisis sosio-misiologis mengungkapkan perlunya pendekatan komprehensif yang melibatkan kerjasama antara Persekutuan Pemuda, keluarga, dan masyarakat. Strategi yang diusulkan mencakup pendekatan personal, pengadaan kegiatan alternatif positif, peningkatan keterlibatan orang tua, serta edukasi berkelanjutan. Kesimpulannya, penanganan efektif kenakalan pemuda di Jemaat Bukit Zaitun Bontang memerlukan integrasi pembinaan spiritual dengan pemberdayaan sosial, serta kolaborasi aktif seluruh elemen masyarakat. Kata Kunci: Kenakalan pemuda, Sosio-misiologis, Minuman keras, Strategi penanganan ABSTRACT This research examines the phenomenon of youth delinquency, especially related to alcohol consumption, in the Mount Olivet Congregation in Bontang through a socio-missiological review. The aim of the research is to identify the causal factors, impacts, and formulate strategies for handling this problem. The research method involved interviews with various parties including pastors, youth involved, parents, RT heads, and administrators of the Toraja Church Youth Fellowship (PPGT). The research results show that the main factors causing youth delinquency include lack of parental attention, disharmonious family conditions, peer influence, and socio-economic pressure. Negative impacts were identified at the individual, Youth Fellowship and wider community levels. Socio-missiological analysis revealed the need for a comprehensive approach involving cooperation between the Youth Fellowship, families and communities. The proposed strategy includes a personal approach, providing positive alternative activities, increasing parental involvement, and continuing education. In conclusion, effective handling of youth delinquency in the Mount Olive Bontang Congregation requires the integration of spiritual formation with social empowerment, as well as active collaboration from all elements of society.
