Abstract

ABSTRAK IRMESYANTI, 2020207792, 2024. Peran Gereja Dalam Pelayanan Holistik di Persekutuan Biro Usia Indah Gereja POUK Sorowako. Skripsi program studi Teologi Kristen Fakultas Teologi dan Sosiologi Kristen Institut Agama Kristen Negeri (IAKN) Toraja. Pembimbing I Dr. Yonatan Sumarto, M. Th Pembimbing II Hardi Saputra, M.Th. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran Gereja Pouk Sorowako dalam memberikan pelayanan holistik bagi jemaat yang tergabung dalam Persekutuan Biro Usia Indah. Pelayanan holistik merupakan pelayanan yang tidak hanya berfokus pada aspek rohani, tetapi juga mencakup aspek fisik, mental, dan sosial jemaat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi lapangan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Informan dalam penelitian ini adalah Pendeta, Majelis Jemaat, dan anggota Persekutuan Biro Usia Indah Gereja Pouk Sorowako. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Gereja Pouk Sorowako memiliki peran yang signifikan dalam memberikan pelayanan holistik bagi jemaat yang tergabung dalam Persekutuan Biro Usia Indah. Peran tersebut meliputi: 1) Pelayanan rohani melalui ibadah 2) Pelayanan fisik melalui pemeriksaan kesehatan rutin sebulan sekalih dan pemberian makanan sehat 3) Pelayanan sosial melalui kegiatan rekreasi, perkunjungan, dan bantuan ekonomi. Pelayanan holistik yang diberikan oleh Gereja Pouk Sorowako memberikan dampak positif bagi pertumbuhan iman dan kesejahteraan jemaat Persekutuan Biro Usia Indah. This study aims to determine the role of the Pouk Sorowako Church in providing holistic services for the congregation who are members of the Beautiful Age Bureau Fellowship. Holistic service is a service that not only focuses on spiritual aspects, but also includes physical, mental, and social aspects of the congregation. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a field study research type. Data collection was carried out through interviews, observations, and documentation. The informants in this study were the Pastor, the Congregation Council, and members of the Beautiful Age Bureau Fellowship of the Pouk Sorowako Church. The results of the study indicate that the Pouk Sorowako Church has a significant role in providing holistic services for the congregation who are members of the Beautiful Age Bureau Fellowship. The roles include: 1) Spiritual service through worship 2) Physical service through routine health checks once a month and providing healthy food 3) Social service through recreational activities, visits, and economic assistance. The holistic service provided by the Pouk Sorowako Church has a positive impact on the growth of faith and the welfare of the congregation of the Beautiful Age Bureau Fellowship.
