Abstract

ABSTRAK Pemuda berperan penting untuk perkembangan dan kemajuan gereja. Akan tetapi, di Gereja Toraja Mamasa Jemaat Burana, masih ada beberapa pemuda yang tidak aktif berpartisipasi dalam setiap kegiatan pemuda maupun pelayanan gerejawi, sehingga menjadi tantangan bagi Jemaat Burana untuk dapat menarik minat dan membangkitkan semangat pemuda sehingga aktif dalam persekutuan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan strategi misi yang tepat untuk meningkatkan keaktifan pemuda di Gereja Toraja Mamasa Jemaat Burana. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara kepada anggota pemuda yang tidak aktif, pengurus pemuda dan majelis gereja di Gereja Toraja Mamasa Jemaat Burana. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa strategi misi yang tepat untuk meningkatkan keaktifan pemuda di Gereja Toraja Mamasa Jemaat Burana adalah strategi komunikasi interpersonal melalui metode penginjilan pribadi, penginjilan kontekstual, penginjilan orang-orang kunci dan pemuridan. Dari strategi misi diatas diharapkan pengurus pemuda dapat bekerja sama dengan majelis gereja untuk meningkatkan keaktifan pemuda. Kata Kunci: Strategi Misi, Keaktifan, Pemuda, Jemaat Burana ABSTRACT Youth play an important role in the development and progress of the church. However, in the Toraja Mamasa Church of the Burana Congregation, there are still some young people who do not actively participate in any youth activities or ecclesiastical services, so it is a challenge for the Burana Congregation to be able to attract interest and raise the enthusiasm of young people so that they are active in fellowship. This research aims to find the right mission strategy to increase youth activity in the Toraja Mamasa Burana Congregation Church. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods with data collection techniques through interviews with inactive youth members, youth administrators and church councils at the Toraja Mamasa Burana Congregation Church. The results of this research indicate that the appropriate mission strategy to increase youth activity in the Toraja Mamasa Burana Congregation Church is an interpersonal communication strategy through personal evangelism, contextual evangelism, key people evangelism and discipleship methods. From the mission strategy above, it is hoped that youth administrators can work together with church councils to increase youth activity.
