Abstract

Kedukaan merupakan tanggapan terhadap peristiwa kehilangan atau kematian. Kematian yang beruntun tentunya menyebabkan individu yang mengalaminya merasa berduka. Skripsi ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tentang tahapan kedukaan akibat kematian beruntun berdasarkan perspektif Elizabeth Kubler Ross. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan fenomenologis. Pendekatan ini memungkinkan penulis untuk menganalisis tahapan kedukaan akibat kematian beruntun berdasarkan perspektif Elisabeth Kubler Ross. Setelah menganalisis tahapan kedukaan tersebut, maka penulis menemukan bahwa Tahapan kedukaan yang muncul pada kematian keponakan, suami, dan ipar yaitu penyangkalan/penolakan, marah, depresi, tawar menawar dan belum sampai pada tahap penerimaan. Kedukaan yang dialami Single Mom dapat dikategorikan sebagai complicated grief yang merupakan kondisi kedukaan yang terjadi secara terus menerus dan berkepanjangan. Grief is a response to the event of loss or death. Successive deaths certainly cause individuals who experience indivdualas who experience it feel grief. This thesis aims to descrive stages of grief due to succecive deaths based on the perspective of Elisabeth Kubler Ross. The type of research used in this study is qualitative descriptive by using a phenomenological approach. This approach allows the author to analyze the stages of grief due to based on Elizabeth Kubler Ross’s perspektive. After analyzing the stages of the stages of grief, the author found that the stages of grief that grief stages that emerged in the deaths of nephews, husbands, and in-laws were denial/denial, anger, depresssion, bargaining, and have not yet reached the acceptance stage to the acceptance stage. The grief experienced by single mothers can be categorized as complicated grief, which is a condition of grief that occurs continuously and prolonged.
