Abstract

Abstrak Arruan Bamba (2320207313) wrote a thesis on the Mission and Political: Implications of the village Head Election for the Congregation and the Ethical Responsibilities of Kalvari Congregation Servants. Political life and the church are two things that cannot be separated from life as people living in a country, so these two things influence each other. This then happened in the Kalvari Congregation where God’s servants took part in practical politics and influenced the congregation as well as the minister’s ethical responsibilities. So how do you carry out God’s mission in the midst of political life like that. The research method used by the authors is a qualitative method using a phenomenological approach. The results of this research are that the implementation of God’s mission can still be carried out in various forms of life, including political life. There are various ways that can be done in political life to carry out God’s mission, one of which is through political actions with good ethics, which is one of the things that shows the identity of a Christian life that believes in Jesus Christ. Abstrak Arruan Bamba (2320207313) menulis Skripsi tentang Misi dan Politik: Implikasi Pemilihan Kepala Desa Terhadap Jemaat dan Tanggung Jawab Etis Pelayan Jemaat Kalvari. Kehidupan politik dan gereja merupakan dua hal yang tidak bisa dipisahkan dari kehidupan sebagai masyarakat yang tinggal dalam sebuah negara, sehingga dua hal tersebut saling mempengaruhi. Hal tersebut kemudian terjadi di Jemaat Kalvari dimana pelayan Tuhan ikut dalam politik praktis dan mempengaruhi jemaat serta tanggung jawab etis pelayan. Jadi bagaimana melaksanakan misi Allah ditengah kehidupan politik yang sepeti itu. Metode penelitian yang digunakan oleh penulis adalah metode kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode pendekatan fenomenologi. Hasil dari penelitian ini, yaitu pelaksanaan misi Allah tetap bisa dikerjakan dalam berbagai bentuk kehidupan termasuk kehidupan politik. Ada berbagai cara yang bisa dilakukan dalam kehidupan politik untuk mengerjakan misi Allah, salah satunya melalui tindakan. Berpolitik dengan etika yang baik, merupakan salah satu hal yang menunjukkan identitas kehidupan kristen yang beriman kepada Yesus Kristus. Kata Kunci: Misi, Politik, Tanggung Jawab Etis, Pelayan.
