Abstract

ABSTRAK Yusnita Ratte ( 2320207785), menyusun skripsi dengan judul: Kajian historis perkembangan pekabaran Injil tahun 1995 sampai tahun 2024 di Gereja Toraja Cabang Kebaktian Gesseng. Penulisan skripsi ini di bawah bimbingan bapak Fajar Kelana, M.Th sebagai pembimbing I dan bapak Andarias Tandi Sitammu,M.Th sebagai pembimbing H. Rumusan masalah yang dikaji dalam skripsi ini adalah : Bagaimana model pekabaran Injil yang dilakukan oleh tenaga PI di Gesseng tahun 1995 dan perkembangannya sampai saat ini. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk menguraikan model pekabaran Injil yang dilakukan oleh tenaga PI di Gesseng pada tahun 1995 dan perkembangannya sampai saat ini. Kajian historis pekabaran Injil di Gereja Toraja Jemaat Pasang Lambe' Cabang kebaktian Gesseng dimulai tahun 1995 yang kemudian berkembang dimana dulunya masyarakat yang ada disana masih menganut kepercayaan lokal yaitu Aluk Todolo sehingga ada dari salah satu masyarakat Gesseng yang melanjutkan pendidikan di tingkat SMP sehingga menerima Yesus Kristus kemudian kembali untuk mendirikan sebuah gereja Toraja. Dari hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa masuknya Injil di wilayah Gesseng membawa dampak bagi masyarakat yang dulunya menganut kepercayaan Aluk Todolo yang sekarang sudah mulai beralih keyakinan ke Kristen. Sebagai dampaknya bahwa dari peralihan tersebut, masyarakat masih memiliki pemahaman tentang hal-hal yang berkaitan dengan Aluk Todolo dan hal ini masih ada sampai sekarang meskipun sudah beragama kepercayaan Kristen. Kata Kunci: Sejarah,Injil. ABSTRACT The research problem studied in this thesis is: How is the model of Gospel proclamation carried out by PI personnel in Gesseng in 1995 and its development. The purpose of the problem is to desribe the model of the Gospel proclamation carried out by the PIforces in Gesseng in 1995 and its development to the present day. The historical study of thr spread of the Gospel in the Toraja Church of the Pasang Lambe' Congregation Branch of the Gesseng Service began in 1995, which then developed where the community there used to adhere to the local beliefofAluk Todolo, so there are some people from the Gesseng community who continued their education at the junior high school level and then accepted Jesus Christ,and then returned to establish a Toraja Church. From the research results, it was found that the entry of the Gospel into the Gesseng region had an impact on the community, which used to adhere to the belief of Aluk Todolo, but now has started ti shift to the Christian faith. As a result of this transition,the community still has an understanding of matters related to Aluk Todolo, and this still exists until now, even though they have embraced the Christianfaith.
