Abstract
ABSTRAK Implementasi konsep Gereja Ramah Anak dalam lingkup pelayanan Gereja Toraja masih menghadapi tantangan, khususnya dalam menciptakan lingkungan ibadah yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan anak-anak. Penelitian ini mengkaji implementasi Gereja Ramah Anak di Gereja Toraja Jemaat Gerizim Ariang Klasis Makale. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis implementasi gereja ramah anak di Gereja Toraja Jemaat Gerizim Ariang Klasis Makale. Teori dasar yang digunakan yakni karakteristik gereja ramah anak. Menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan teknik wawancara dan observasi, penelitian ini melibatkan 10 informan dari berbagai kelompok kategorial dalam gereja. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Gereja Toraja Jemaat Gerizim Ariang telah mengimplementasikan Gereja Ramah Anak melalui penyedian program gereja yang ramah anak seperti, pelayanan holistik melalui ibadah lintas generasi, komunikasi efektif dengan anak-anak, penyediaan konten cerita yang sesuai dengan usia anak, agenda pelayanan dan penyedian guru sekolah minggu. Meskipun dalam pelaksanaanya masih menghadapi tantangan dalam hal fasilitas dan anggaran, namun gereja telah menunjukkan komitmen untuk menciptakan lingkungan yang aman dan mendukung bagi perkembangan spiritual anak-anak. ABSTRACT The implementation of the Child-Friendly Church concept within the Toraja Church service scope still faces challenges, particularly in creating a worship environment that caters to children's needs. This study examines the implementation of the Child-Friendly Church in the Toraja Church Gerizim Ariang Congregation, Makale Classis. The aim of this research is to analyze the implementation of a child-friendly church in the Toraja Church Gerizim Ariang Congregation, Makale Classis. The basic theory used is the characteristics of a child-friendly church. Using qualitative methods with interview and observation techniques, this study involved 10 informants from various categorical groups within the church. The results show that the Toraja Church Gerizim Ariang Congregation has implemented the Child-Friendly Church concept through the provision of child-friendly church programs such as holistic services through cross-generational worship, effective communication with children, provision of age-appropriate story content, service agendas, and Sunday school teacher provision. Although its implementation still faces challenges in terms of facilities and budget, the church has demonstrated a commitment to creating a safe and supportive environment for children's spiritual development.
