Abstract

ABSTRAK Pemilihan topik ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pengamatan penulis di Jemaat Eben-haezer Burasia Penulis melihat bahwa sebagian dari Majelis Gereja yang masih kurang Memberikan perhatian yang cukup terhadap pelayanan, seperti halnya masih ada majelis gereja yang Pelayanannya di gantikan oleh Majelis yang lain. untuk itu tujuan penulis melakukan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui Pemahaman Majelis Gereja mengenai Pelayanan di Jemaat Eben-Haezer Burasia. Metode Penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Kualitatif dengan pendekatan Deskriptif. Data Primer diperoleh melalui wawancara dengan Majelis Gereja dan Anggota Jemaat. Data sekunder diperoleh melalui sumber-sumber lain seperti buku dan jurnal. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman majelis Gereja Eben-Haezer Burasia sebagian dari mereka sudah memahami tentang Pelayanan secara Teori namun secara Praktik belum sepenuhnya dipahami dan juga masih banyak yang perlu ditingkatkan. Majelis perlu memahami bahwa pelayanan adalah panggilan universal bagi semua orang Kristen dan dapat dilakukan di berbagai bidang kehidupan. Perlu diadakan pembinaan dan pelatihan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman majelis tentang pelayanan. Kata Kunci: Majelis Gereja, Pelayanan ABSTRACT The choice of this topic was motivated by the author's observations at the Eben-haezer Burasia Congregation. The author saw that some of the Church Councils were still not paying enough attention to service, just as there were still church councils whose services were being replaced by other Councils. For this objective reason, the author conducted this research to determine the Church Council's understanding of ministry in the Eben-Haezer Burasia Congregation. The research method used is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Primary data was obtained through interviews with the Church Council and Congregation Members. Secondary data is obtained through other sources such as books and journals. This research shows that the understanding of the Eben-Haezer Burasia Church board is that some of them already understand service in theory, but in practice it is not fully understood and there is still a lot that needs to be improved. The Assembly needs to understand that service is a universal calling for all Christians and can be carried out in various areas of life. Guidance and training needs to be held to increase the assembly's understanding of services. Keywords: Church Assembly, Service
