Abstract

ABSTRAK Deastry Fani Rantesalu, “Study Kasus terhadap Stratifikasi Sosial dan Prinsip Penatalayanan dalam Gereja Toraja Jemaat Efata Bilawaiyah” (dibimbing oleh Bapak Oktoviandy, M.Si., dan Ibu Ones Kristiani Rapa’, S.Th., M.Si). Dalam melakukan penelitian ini, penulis menggunakan metode penelitian adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan penelitian lapangan. Data-data yang dikumpulkan melalui wawancara bersama empat informan satu pendeta jemaat dan tiga majelis gereja, dari hasil observasi secara langsung dilapangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui stratifikasi sosial tidak lagi mempengaruhi prinsip penatalayanan dalam gereja. Dari hasil penelitian yang didapatkan bahwa stratifikasi sosial tidak boleh ada dalam gereja kerena dapat mempengaruhi prinsip penatalayanan yang tidak berjalan dengan baik. Dan pentingnya kesadaran pendeta dalam menyikapi masalah-masalah terhadap stratifikasi sosial yang terjadi serta memberikan arahan bahwa tidak adalagi perbedaan antara status golongan tinggi dan golongan rendah. Pada dasarnya semua anggota jemaat adalah sama dimata Tuhan. Kata Kunci: Stratifikasi Sosial, Penatalayanan, Gereja ABSTRACT Deastry Fani Rantesalu, "Case Study of Social Stratification and Principles of Stewardship in the Toraja Church of the Efata Bilawaiyah Congregation" (supervised by Mr. Oktoviandy, M.Si., and Mrs. Ones Kristen Rapa', S.Th., M.Si). In conducting this research, the author used a qualitative research method with a field research approach. The data was collected through interviews with four informants, one congregational pastor and three church councillors, from direct observations in the field. This research aims to find out that social stratification no longer influences the principles of stewardship in the church. From the research results, it was found that social stratification should not exist in the church because it can influence the principles of stewardship which do not work well. And the importance of the priest's awareness in responding to the problems of social stratification that occur and providing direction that there is no longer a difference between the status of the high class and the low class.
