Abstract

ABSTRAK Majelis gereja adalah orang-orang yang memperlengkapi setiap anggota jemaat yang ada. Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah majelis gereja di gereja Protestan Indonesia di Banggai Kepulauan (GPIBK) kurang memperhatikan setiap pelayanan yang ada di Sekolah Minggu. Oleh sebab itu, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mendeskripsikan serta menganalisis peran majelis gereja dalam pendampingan guru Sekolah Minggu Jemaat Gunung Moria Okulo. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan pengumpulan data melalui studi pustaka, observasi, dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa peran majelis gereja terhadap guru Sekolah Minggu masih sangat kurang. Hal ini disebabkan karena kurangnya kesadaran dari majelis gereja dan keterbatasan dana. Kata Kunci : Majelis, Gereja, Guru, Sekolah, Minggu. ABSTRACT The church council is the people who equip every member of the existing congregation. The problem in this research is that the church council at the Indonesian Protestant Church in the Banggai Islands (GPIBK) does not pay enough attention to every service in the Sunday School. Therefore, this research was conducted to describe and analyze the role of the church council in assisting Mount Moria Okulo Congregation Sunday School teachers. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach by collecting data through literature study, observation and interviews. The research results show that the role of church councils in Sunday School teachers is still very lacking. This is due to a lack of awareness from the church council and limited funds.
