Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertolak belakang dari pemaknaan masyarakat nasrani yang ada di Lembang Burasia tentang pendirian batu simbuang sebagai suatu tindakan pelestarian warisan nenek moyang secara turun temurun, sehingga penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui makna dari batu simbuang dilihat dari pespektif iman Kristen masyarakat Lembang Burasia. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan ialah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara dan mencari data dari beberapa sumber (kepustakaan). Penelitian ini dimulai dengan mencari infromasi dari setiap tokoh masyarakat serta pemangku adat yang ada di Lembang Burasia. Hasil dari penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa makna batu simbuang dari pespektif iman Kristen diyakini sebagai bentuk kasih sayang, penghormatan, warisan bahkan kenang-kenangan serta pengingat bagi rumpun keluarga terhad anggota keluarga yang telah berpulang kepada Sang Pencipta serta sebagai pengimplementasian dari salah satu 10 hukum Taurat yang ada di Kitab suci. Kata kunci: Batu Simbuang, Kekristenan, Perspektif ABSTRACT This research is contrary to the meaning of the Christian community in Lembang Burasia regarding the erection of the Simbuang stone as an act of preserving the heritage of their ancestors from generation to generation, so this research aims to find out the meaning of the Simbuang stone from the perspective of the Christian faith of the Lembang Burasia community. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques using interviews and searching for data from several sources (library). This research began by seeking information from every community leader and traditional authority in Lembang Burasia. The results of this research state that the meaning of the simbuang stone from the perspective of the Christian faith is believed to be a form of affection, respect, inheritance and even a memento and a reminder for the family of family members who have passed away to the Creator and as an implementation of one of the 10 laws of the Torah. it's in the holy book.
