Abstract

ABSTRAK Skripsi ini disusun dengan latar belakang mengenai pendeta di Gereja Toraja Mamasa, Jemaat Pniel Baruru, tidak hanya berperan sebagai pemimpin, tetapi juga menjadi to mepairan dalam jemaat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengkaji konsep dan proses pairan sehingga menjadi syarat utama seorang pendeta dalam pelayanan di Gereja Toraja Mamasa, Jemaat Pniel Baruru, dan dimaknai dalam kekristenan dengan teori hibdiritas. Homi K. Bhabha mendeskripsikan hibriditas akan cenderung menunjukkan perubahan bentuk dari pelakunya. Dalam penelitian ini penulis menggunakan metode kualitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melakukan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil yang didapatkan dalam penelitian ini bahwa konsep to mepairan sehingga menjadi syarat utama seorang pendeta terdiri dari tiga aspek yakni spritualitas, kepemimpinan dan etika. Proses pairan sehingga dapat dimaknai dalam kekristenan oleh karena adanya injil yang dibawah oleh Belanda ke wilayah Pitu Ulunna Salu yang kemudian mengkristenkan ada’ Mappurondo yang kehidupannya berpedoman pada tuntutan pairan. Kata kunci: Hibriditas, Pairan, Pendeta. ABSTRACT This thesis was prepared with the background that the pastor at the Toraja Mamasa Church, Pniel Baruru Congregation, not only plays a role as a leader, but also becomes a leader in the congregation. The aim of this research is to examine the concept and process of pairing so that it becomes the main requirement for a pastor in ministry at the Toraja Mamasa Church, Pniel Baruru Congregation, and is interpreted in Christianity with the theory of hibdiritas. Homi K. Bhabha describes hybridity as tending to show changes in the form of the perpetrator. In this research the author used qualitative methods, with data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. The results obtained in this research are that the concept of mepairan is the main requirement for a pastor consisting of three aspects, namely spirituality, leadership and ethics. The process of pairing can therefore be interpreted in Christianity because of the gospel brought by the Dutch to the Pitu Ulunna Salu area which then converted to Christianity in Mappurondo, whose life was guided by the demands of pairing.
