Abstract

ABSTRAK Rumusan masalah dari penelitian ini adalah Bagaimana Misi Gereja Toraja Dalam Meningkatkan Pertumbuhan Spiritualitas Warga Jemaat Salutallang di Rongkong. Spiritualitas merupakan konsep yang terkait dengan kekuatan batin atau roh yang memberi energi dan motivasi untuk menjalani hidup dengan penuh ketahanan, pertumbuhan, dan pemenuhan. Spiritualitas sering dihubungkan dengan dimensi rohani, yang melibatkan upaya manusia dalam mencapai kesucian atau keselamatan diri. Ini juga mencakup kesadaran dan sikap hidup yang memungkinkan seseorang untuk menghadapi cobaan dan mencapai tujuan serta harapan imannya. Dengan metode penelitian yang digunakan oleh penulis yaitu metode penelitian kualitatif dimana data-data yang diperoleh dari penelitian lapangan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan penelusuran pustaka. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, penulis menyumpulkan bahwa gereja selalu berupaya dalam membimbing dan mengarahkan jemaat serta memberikan pembimaan, pelayanan yang baik kepada jemaat, sehinnga spiritualitas jemaat dapat bertumbuh dan berkembang. Kata Kunci: Misi Gereja, Pertumbuhan Spiritualitas Jemaat. ABSTRACT The problem formulation of this research is how the Toraja Church's mission is to increase the spiritual growth of the residents of the Salutallang congregation in Rongkong. Spirituality is a concept related to inner strength or spirit that provides energy and motivation to live a life full of resilience, growth and fulfillment. Spirituality is often associated with the spiritual dimension, which involves human efforts to achieve holiness or personal salvation. It also includes awareness and an attitude of life that allows a person to face trials and achieve the goals and hopes of his faith\The research method used by the author is a qualitative research method where data is obtained from field research through observation, interviews and literature searches. Based on the results of this research, the author concludes that the church always makes efforts to guide and direct the congregation and provide guidance and good service to the congregation, so that the spirituality of the congregation can grow and develop.
