Abstract
ABSTRAK Penulis mengangkat judul ini karena keprihatinan terhadap masalah yang terjadi dalam kepercayaan orang di Desa Balla Mamasa, terkhusus pada kurban lima rambu pada adat Passerekan dalam acara kematian. Adat passerekan menghitung dari berbagai macam kurban ada lima rambu yang terhitung, kurban tersebut dipercayakan sebagai pengantar bagi sang mendiang sampai ke suruga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis teologis tentang kurban lima rambu pada ritual passerekan dalam acara kematian. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif melalui pendekatan etnometodologi. Kualitatif memiliki 3 tahap untuk mendapatkan data secara jelas yaitu melalui dokumentasi, wawancara, dan observasi. Kurban merupakan salah satu tindakan yang memberikan persemabhan kepada Allah memalui Hewan (Ayam, Anjing, Babi, Kerbau). Hasil analisis teologis dengan hasil penelitian mengenai kurban masih memiliki tantangan karena kurban dalam Perjanjian Lama dan Perjanjian Baru dijadikan sebagai bentuk pentaatan kepada Tuhan bukan untuk dipercayai sebagai pengantar bagi sang mendiang sampai ke suruga. Kata Kunci : Teologis, Passerekan, Kurban, Lima Rambu, Kepercayaan. ABSTRACT The author raised this title because of his concern about the problems that occur in people's beliefs in Balla Mamasa Village, especially regarding the five-sign sacrifice in the Passerekan custom on death occasions. The passerekan tradition calculates that from various types of sacrifices there are five signs, these sacrifices are entrusted as an introduction for the deceased to the suruga. This research aims to analyze the theology of the five-sign sacrifice in the passerekan ritual at the event of death. This research uses qualitative methods through an ethnomethodological approach. Qualitative has 3 stages to obtain clear data, namely through documentation, interviews and observation. Sacrifice is an act that provides offerings to God through animals (chickens, dogs, pigs, buffalo). The results of theological analysis and research results regarding sacrifice still have challenges because sacrifice in the Old and New Testaments is used as obedience to God, not to be believed as an introduction for the deceased to heaven.
