Abstract

ABSTRAK Ritual Wora Sinci dilakukan dalam tiga tahap yaitu taleileta, ndoi bo’I, dan jonjoawa pada malam kedukaan sebelum keesokan harinya di makamkan. Namun masih ada kepercayaan-kepercayaan dalam kalangan masyarakat suku Pamona yang meyakini roh orang mati dan kematian ditentukan dengan selesai atau tidaknya tiga tahap dalam ritual Wora Sinci. Dengan tujuan penelitian untuk memahami Makna Ritual Wora Sinci bagi Penghayatan Iman di Gereja Kristen Sulawesi Tengah Jemaat Amsal Amporiwo, Klasis Pamona Selatan dengan Analisis Antropologi. Dimana Antropologi membahas tiga cakupan untuk melihat kematian dan kebudayaan yang dimiliki suku lain yaitu gagasan ide, benda-benda, dan aktivitas. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan Antropologi. Dari perspektif antropologi, kita dapat memahami hubungan budaya masyarakat suku Pamona, baik dari hubungan dengan dunia roh orang mati, serta menjaga dan melestarikan tradisi melalui generasi kegenarasi. Hasil penelitian ini bahwa anggota jemaat belum bisa memilah dengan baik akan makna dari ritual Wora Sinci sesuai dengan nilai-nilai kekristenan. Kata Kunci : Ritual, Wora Sinci, Kematian ,Gereja ABSTRACT The Wora Sinci ritual is carried out in three stages, namely taleileta, ndoi bo'I, and jonjoawa on the night of mourning before being buried the next day. However, there are still beliefs among the Pamona people who believe that the spirits of the dead and death are determined by the completion of the three stages in the Wora Sinci ritual. With the purpose of research to understand the Eating of the Wora Sinci Ritual for the Appreciation of Faith in the Central Sulawesi Christian Church of the Amporiwo Proverbs Congregation, South Pamona Classic with Anthropological Analysis. Where Anthropology discusses three scopes to see death and culture owned by other tribes, namely ideas, objects, and activities. The research method used in this study is qualitative with an Anthropological approach. From an anthropological perspective, we can understand the cultural relationship between the Pamona people, both from the relationship with the world of the spirits of the dead, as well as maintaining and preserving traditions through generations of generations. The results of this study show that the members of the congregation have not been able to properly sort out the meaning of the Wora Sinci ritual in accordance with Christian values.
