Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian Tentang Kajian Teologis-Filosofis Platon ini, berangkat dari paham politik ideal bagi Majelis Gereja POUK Jemaat Rio Riita dalam menyikapi politik secara khusus dalam pemilu tahun 2024. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui politik yang ideal menurut Alkitab dan Platon dan seperti apa paham politik ideal bagi Majelis Gereja POUK Jemaat Rio Riita. Alkitab dan Platon telah menawarkan prinsio-prinsip dari sikap politik yang ideal dengan berdasar pada kebenaran, pendidikan, keadilan, kebijaksanaan, keberanian dan kesederhanaan. Dalam penelitian ini, penulis menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Berdasarkan data hasil penelitian yang penulis dapatkan bahwa politik yang ideal bagi Majelis Gereja POUK Jemaat Rio Riita belum memenuhi standar politik ideal yang ditawarkan oleh Alkitab dan Platon. Hal ini disebabkan karena Majelis Gereja tidak menjadikan prinsip-prisip politik ideal sebagai dasar dalam berpolitik secara khusus dalam rana pemilu. Kata Kunci: Politik, ideal, Alkitab, Platon, Majelis ABSTRACT This research on Plato’s Theological-Philosophical Study, departs from the ideal political understanding for the POUK Church Asssembly of the Rio Riita Congregation in addressing politics specifically in the 2024 general election. The purpose of this research is to find out the ideal politics according to the Bible and Plato and what the ideal political understanding is for the POUK Church Assembly of Rio Riita Congregation. The Bible and Plato have offered principles of ideal political attitudes based on truth, education, justice, wisdom, courage, and simplicity. In this study, the author used qualitative research methods. Based on the research data that the author obtained, the ideal politics for the POUK Church Council of the Rio Riita congregation has not met the ideal political standards offered by the Bible and Plato. This is because the church assembly does not make the principles of ideal politics the basis for politics specifically in the election arena. Keywords: Politics, ideal, Bible, Plato, Assembly
