Abstract
ABSTRAK Analisis Penerapan Pengajaran Hukum Kasih dalam Matius 22:39 bagi Pembentukan Karakter Siswa Kristen di SMPN 1 Kalukku. Penelitian ini menganalisis penerapan pengajaran hukum kasih dalam Matius 22:39 dalam membentuk karakter siswa Kristen di SMPN 1 Kalukku. Kasih adalah inti ajaran Kristen yang membentuk karakter melalui hubungan dengan Allah. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh tindakan pelecehan, perundungan, dan kekerasan yang terjadi di SMPN 1 Kalukku, yang bertentangan dengan ajaran kasih. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui studi pustaka, observasi, dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dengan adanya ajaran hukum kasih di SMPN 1 Kalukuku, berdampak positif bagi pembentukan karakter siswa kristen, namun masih ada tantangan dalam penerapannya. Meskipun demikian, demikian secara keseluruhan penerapan ajaran hukum kasih di SMPN 1 Kalukku berhasil membantu siswa mengembangkan karakter yang mencerminkan nilai-nilai Kristiani. Kata Kunci: Kasih, Karakter, Siswa, SMPN 1 Kalukku. ABSTRACT Analisis Penerapan Pengajaran Hukum Kasih dalam Matius 22:39 bagi Pembentukan Karakter Siswa Kristen di SMPN 1 Kalukku. This study analyzes the application of teaching the law of love in Matthew 22:39 in shaping the character of Christian students at SMPN 1 Kalukku. Love is the core of Christian teaching that shapes character through a relationship with God. This research was motivated by acts of harassment, bullying, and violence that occurred at SMPN 1 Kalukku, which are contrary to the teaching of love. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through literature study, observation, and interviews. The results showed that the existence of the teachings of the law of love at SMPN 1 Kalukuku has a positive impact on the character building of Christian students, but there are still challenges in its application. Nevertheless, overall, the application of the law of love teachings at SMPN 1 Kalukku has succeeded in helping students develop characters that reflect Christian values.
