Abstract

Juneti Tampang (2019), Judul “Pandangan Iman Kristen Tentang Ma ’pakande Nene m. Dibimbing oleh Frans Paillin Rumbi, M.Th. selaku pembimbing satu, dan Amos Susanto, M.Th. selaku pembimbing dua. Jurusan Teologi Kristen di Sekolah Tinggi Agama Kristen Negeri (STAKN) Toraja. Dalam penulisan karya ilmiah ini, dilatarbelakangi oleh pelaksanaan Ritus Ma ’pakande Nene ’ yang pada umumnya dilaksanakan oleh masyarakat yang Aluk To Dolo dan masih dilakukan oleh sebagian orang di Jemaat Buntuminanga. Di mana dalam Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan Pandangan Iman Kristen Tentang Ritus Ma ’pakande Nene ’. Dengan melakukan penelitian di jemaat Buntuminanga. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif melalaui wawancara kepada 15 Responden untuk mewakili jemaat sebagai responden, Teknik pengumpulan data yang dingunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik wawancara dan observasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, mengenai makna pelaksanaan ritus Ma ’pakande Nene’, penulis memperoleh makna bahwa dalam pelaksanaan ritus ini mengajarkan kita selaku orang Toraja untuk senantiasa menghargai,mengasihi serta menghormati leluhur baik ketika masih hidup sekalipun sudah mati. Gereja dalam melaksanakan Tri Panggilan Gereja akan beijumpa dengan berbagai macam budaya ditengah-tengah masyarakat, dan yang seharusnya dilakukan bahwa Gereja harus menjadi pembawa terang Injil yang sesungguhnya. Bersifat kritis serta mampu melihat nilai-nilai dari makna Ritus dengan tidak menghilangkan nilai-nilai budaya aslinya. Juneti Tampang (2019), the title “The View of The Christian Faith About Ma’pakande Nene”’.'Was guided by Frans Paillin Rumbi, M.Th, as the first supervisor and Amos Susanto, M.Th, as the second supervisor majoring in Christian Theology in the Toraja State Christian high school. In writing the scientific work, it is mitivated by the implementation of the Ma 'pakande Nene ’ rite which is generally carried out by people who are Aluk To Dolo and is still done by some Christians ihe Buntuminanga congregation. Where in this study aims to describe the views of the Christian faith about the rite Ma ’pakande Nene By conducting research in the congregation of Buntuminanga. This study uses qualitative methods thorough interviews with 15 respondents to represent the congregation as respondenst, data collection techniques in this research are interview and observation techniques. Based on the results of research, regarding the meaning of the implementation of the Ma 'pakande Nene ’ rite, the author obtains the meaning that the implementation of this rite teaches us as Toraja to always respect, love and recpect ancestors both while still alive even though we are dead. The Church in carrying out the tri vocation of the Church will meat with a variety of cultures in the midst of society , and what should be done is that the Church must be a true guide to the gospel. Are of a Christian nature and are able to see the values of the meaning of rites by not losing their original cultural values.
