Abstract

ABSTRAK Sita Pasangkin (2020197046). 2023 "Studi Kasus Pertumbuhan Gereja Toraja, Jemaat Sardis Bangkit Rombe, Berdasarkan Perspektif C. Peter Wagner". Prodi Teologi Kristen. Dibimbing oleh Fajar Kelana, M.Th. dan Ferdi Sapan Alextian, M.Psi. Tujuan dari penulisan skripsi ini ialah Untuk mengetahui pertumbuhan Gereja Toraja Jemaat Sardis Bangkit Rombe ditinjau dari perspektif C. Peter Wagner. Dalam merampungkan penulisan skripsi ini, metode yang penulis gunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan ada dua yaitu studi pustaka dengan mengumpulkan data mengenai kajian teori yang berhubungan dengan pertumbuhan gereja toraja dan studi lapangan dengan menggunakan teknik observasi dan wawancara. Model analisis data yang digunakan adalah model analisis yang terdiri atas empat bagian, yakni reduksi data, penyajian data, interpretasi data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Petumbuhan Gereja Toraja Jemaat Sardis Bangkit Rombe kurang berhasil. Hal ini disebabkan oleh adanya keegoisan yang terjadi, kurang-Nya perhatian antara anggota jemaat dalam tugas dan tanggung jawab setiap orang yang terlibat dalam lingkup gereja. Meskipun ada tantangan dalam peningkatan pertumbuhan. Gereja ini perlu berusaha mengimplementasikan prinsip-prinsip gerakan pertumbuhan gereja yang dianut oleh C. Peter Wagner untuk meminimalisir tanangan yang menghambat pertumbuhan Gereka. The purpose ofwriting this thesis is to find out the growth ofthe Toraja Church ofthe Congregation of Sardis Bangkit Rombe from the perspective of C. Peter Wagner. Completing the writing of this thesis, the method that the writer uses is a qualitative research method. There are two data collection techniques used, namely literature study by collecting data on theoretical studies related to the growth of the Toraja church and field studies using observation and interview techniques. The data analysis model used is an analytical model which consists offour parts, namely data reduction, data presentation, data interpretation and conclusion. The results showed that the growth of the Toraja Church of the Congregation of Sardis Bangkit Rombe was less successful. This is caused by the existence of selfishness that occurs, the lack ofattention among church members in the duties and responsibilities of everyone involved in the scope of the church. Although there are challenges in increasing growth. This church needs to try to implement the principles of the church growth movement adopted by C. Peter Wagner to minimize the challenges that hinder the growth ofthe Church. Keywords: Toraja Church, Congregation, Growth
