Abstract
ABSTRAK Pendampingan pastoral adalah salah satu bagian yang paling penting dalam pelayanan gereja, namun selama ini seringkali disepelehkan karena kurangnya pemahaman tentang pastoral, bahkan tugas sesungguhnya belum begitu mendalam dihidupi di kalangan jemaat, sehingga mengabaikan pendampingan pastoral gereja terhadap pekerja seks komersial. Itulah sebabnya, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menguraikan melalui tinjauan teologis pendampingan pastoral gereja terhadap pekerja seks komersial di Kecamatan Mengkendek Kabupaten Tana Toraja. Pendampingan pastoral dilaksanakan dengan tujuan kemuliaan Tuhan, penerimaan, pemulihan, dan pembimbingan. Sebagai bentuk dari pertobatan dan keselamatan orang-orang berdosa, agar senantiasa memelihara kekudusan Allah, dan hanya melalui Yesus pintu pertobatan selalu terbuka bagi semua tanpa terkecuali, sebab karena imanlah kita dilayakkan hidup, sebagaimana dinyatakan kepada perempuan berzinah Yoh. 8: 11. Untuk mencapai tujuan di atas, penulis menggunakan metode penelitian tinjauan teologis dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Pada akhirnya dalam tulisan ini, penulis menyimpulkan bahwa pada pendampingan pastoral, para pemimpin gereja harus mengambil keputusan untuk menegaskan kepada jemaat tentang, pemahaman selama ini terhadap pekerja seks komersial yang harus dijauhi adalah keputusan dan pemahaman keliru, tetapi seharusnya meneladani Yesus merima, menjadi sahabat, dan mengampuni dosanya. Sehingga melalui itu, PSK akan merasa aman, terterima, dan mengalami pertobatan melalui gereja. Kata Kunci: Pendampingan Pastoral, Pemimpin Gereja, Jemaat, dan PSK. ABSTRACT Pastoral assistance is one of the most important parts of church ministry, but so far it has often been neglected due to a lack of understanding of pastoral care, and the actual task has not been deeply lived among the congregation, thus ignoring the church's pastoral assistance to commercial sex workers. That is why, the purpose of this study is to describe through a theological review the church's pastoral assistance to commercial sex workers in Mengkendek District, Tana Toraja Regency. Pastoral assistance is carried out with the aim of glorifying God, acceptance, restoration, and guidance. As a form of repentance and salvation for sinners, in order to always maintain the holiness of God, and only through Jesus the door of repentance is always open for all without exception, because it is because of faith that we are worthy of life, as stated to the woman who committed adultery, John. 8: 11. To achieve the above objectives, the author uses a theological review research method with a qualitative approach. In the end, in this paper, the author concludes that in pastoral assistance, church leaders must make a decision to emphasize to the congregation that the current understanding of commercial sex workers that they must be shunned is a wrong decision and understanding, but they should emulate Jesus accept, be friends, and forgive his sins. So that through that, CSWs will feel safe, accepted, and experience repentance through the church.Keywords: Pastoral Assistance, Church Leaders, Congregation, and PSK.
